Do I need to prepare or write a script?

No. There are no scripts, no memorizing, and no homework. We share the topics ahead of time so nothing feels sprung on you, and everything is answered in your own words.

What if my parent is uncomfortable around cameras?

Most people are, at first. Within a few minutes of talking, the camera stops mattering. We keep the setup small and calm and let the conversation lead. If someone needs a break, we take a break.

Where can the conversation be recorded?

Wherever the storyteller feels most comfortable. A living room, a kitchen table, a front porch, or a place that means something to the family.

What is the difference between DearGrandkids, Dear Son, and Dear Daughter?

DearGrandkids keeps the story of a whole life: memories, traditions, humor, and family history. Dear Son and Dear Daughter are shorter, more personal conversations recorded by a parent for one of their children.

Can siblings or family members share the cost?

Yes, and many families do. We just ask that one person be the main contact so decisions do not get stuck.

Are payment options available?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flexible payment options are available on most projects, and we walk through them together after you request information. A signed agreement and initial booking payment are required before a production date is reserved.

Do you offer financing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Financing options are available for qualified customers who prefer to spread the cost of their project over time. Financing is available through PayPal, with eligibility, approval, available payment plans, interest rates, and repayment terms determined by PayPal and its lending partner. If financing is selected, the full project price may be financed at the beginning of the project rather than using our standard 50% / 50% payment schedule.

Can photographs, recipes, letters, or heirlooms be included?

Yes. We can record alongside photographs, letters, recipes, and meaningful objects, and weave the stories behind them into the finished story.

Will the finished story remain private?

Yes. It is delivered privately to your family and is never posted, published, or shared publicly without written permission.

How far do you travel?
